DOGPILE SUBMISSION AND INDEXING
Dogpile search engine is run my Metasearch, thus meaning that data is gathered and returned as results from several top search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, Bing, etc. Dogpile first takes the results from these search engines, goes through them, and only gives you the most relevant information that you are searching for. It is designed to make searches quicker and easier. Dogpile also provides suggestions of different key searches that pertain to the current search, allowing for possibly more accurate results. However, Dogpile isn’t an actual search engine in and of itself, as it gathers information from other leading search engines. Therefore, the only way to rank in Dogpile is by ranking in Google, Yahoo, and Bing first! Dogpile isn’t a high running search engine, and isn’t meant to be a first priority in SEO. It’s more of a balance and expansion on the more prominent search engines, mainly just helping your ranking along the way.
